Thermoseal soft-chem

Thermoseal soft-chem expanded PTFE sealing material provides excellent corrosion resistance and impermeability along with superior creep resistance and sealability for use in all types of applications. The material's high compressibility enables it to deform under load and conform to irregularities in flange faces for a tight seal with low, minimum sealing stress. Standardizing with it also helps to reduce maintenance, simplify inventory, and save money.

Sealex Joint Sealant

Sealex joint sealant, specially processed, 100% pure PTFE on a roll, provides soft, highly compressible gasketing for longer life and trouble-free sealing. Its form-in-place versatility also cuts maintenance and storage costs. The high compressibility of Sealex enables it to effectively fill flange imperfections for a tight, leak-free seal. Under pressure, it provides a very wide, thin ribbon-like joint sealant. Unlike conventional PTFE which is prone to cold flow, Sealex has good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties.

KLINGER-tc-1003

KLINGER-tc-1003 is a high quality, yet cost-effective modified PTFE gasket material with glass spheres. A proprietary pressure-sintering and blending process combined with the highest quality raw materials produces a reinforced PTFE sheet that offers superior sealability, excellent torque retention, and reduced creep relaxation. Gaskets cut from this material are exceptionally effective when lower bolt loads are needed to effect a seal.

Uses include moderate concentrations of acids and caustics, chlorine, hydrocarbons, solvents, hydrogen peroxide, refrigerants, cryogenics and all concentrations of sulfuric acid.

KLINGER-tc-1005

KLINGER-tc-1005 is a high quality, yet cost-effective modified PTFE gasket material made with silica. A proprietary pressure-sintering and blending process combined with the highest quality raw materials produces a reinforced PTFE sheet that offers superior sealability, excellent torque retention, and reduced creep relaxation. Gaskets cut from this material are exceptionally effective when the reliability of a low deforming material is required.

Particularly suited for use in extremely caustic envirmonments such as strong acids (except hydrofluoric), solvents, hydrocarbons, steam, chlorine, cryogenics, and all concentrations of sulfuric acid.

KLINGER-tc-1006

KLINGER-tc-1006 is a high quality, yet cost-effective chemically modified PTFE gasket material that is good to 550°F. A proprietary pressure-sintering and blending process combined with the highest quality raw materials produces a reinforced PTFE sheet that offers superior sealability, excellent torque retention, and reduced creep relaxation.

Gaskets cut from this material are suitable for use in strong caustics (sodium hydroxide such as black liquor), moderate acids, chlorine, hydrocarbons, and cryogenics.
